Alpine Valley & Flowers

View photos

At the gate to the Alps there lies an enchanting Logar valley. Visiting this place in North Slovenia is definitely a way to relax in nature. We'll stretch our legs hiking the scenic path, marvelled by nature beauties and the scent of flower-spiced mountain air. After this inspiring experience we head on towards the colourful arboretum of Mozirski gaj. The park is one of Slovenia's best sights to see for botany lovers with endless species of flowers, trees, bushes, fishponds, botanic exhibitions, workshops, thematic parts and the panoramic tower.

This was our second trip with Bart, he was exactly on time for our pickup in Rijeka. He helped us decide on the trip destinations and we had another wonderful day seeing the must see tourist spots and then the real Croatia in the small hilltop villages! He took us to a great cafe for our morning coffee and a fantastic local restaurant for truffles and pasta etc. for lunch! Bart gave lots of insight into Croatia its history and the way they live! We loved the day!
