Program (10 hours)

We enter the Soča Valley crossing one of the mountain passes over the Julian Alps.

During our planned 45 minutes of sightseeing, we will explore the cultural and natural background of the Trenta Valley.
Located in the heart of Triglav National Park it is famous for its serenity and pristine environment.
Rural farmsteads and unspoiled vistas are a step back in time, and the emerald Soča River invites a closer look.

Kluže fortress is an interesting construction right above the depths of Koritnica water.
Once an invincible construction is an open-air museum now.
A must half-hour break for photographers as well as for history lovers.

The Soča Valley was a place of fierce battles in the time of WWI.
This period is presented in the Kobarid Museum, as well as on the Alps-to-Adriatic Sea hiking trail named 'Walk of Peace'.
Kobarid museum exhibits photographs, maps, weapons, uniforms, letters, model cave and a heartbreaking documentary film on WWI. Particular focus is on the battle of Kobarid, one of the crucial battles between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies.
The option for nature lovers is the Kozjak waterfall, all together we can go to see the wonderful village of Drežnica, a European paragliding hotspot.
The planned stop in Kobarid is 2 hours.

Soothing stop in the Tolmin Gorges, the lowest point of the Triglav National Part, will cool us down as there the temperatures are always lower than above.
Pleasant especially in the summertime, from June to August.
Approximately hour and a half walk is considered semi-difficult, with some steep ups and downs.
The nearby town of Tolmin is hiding some wonderful places along the Soča River, it can be a good option for less active.

Plenty of other random photo stops along our way encircle our day trip to an unforgettable memory.

We only had a few days and would never have been able to see all the sights we did without this tour.
It was also incredible value for money.
I booked online from the UK with ease and Jernej - Bart was a fantastic tour guide.
It was just me and a friend and he tailored the tour and information to us.
He is extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and if we go back to Slovenia we will do another tour with him and Loopy Slovenia.

Amazing tour of West Slovenia.
The tour guide knew of all the scenic places and also shared his personal views about Slovenian history and culture.
A must-do tour to get a real feel for Slovenia.
